Hari kedua LCC AIESEC UNAND di UPTD Balai diklat koperasi Sumatera Barat, dibuka dengan sebuah sesi yang sangat inspiring, motivating dan learning bagi para newee yang menjadi delegates pada confrences kali ini. Sesi tersebut menghadirkan Masrial Koto atau akrab di panggil Da Mai sebagai salah satu tokoh nasional, social entreprenuer yang berasal dari Sumatera Barat.

Da Mai sendiri bukanlah lulusan terbaik universitas terbaik di negeri ini, namun beliau telah memberikan bakti terbaiknya untuk negeri ini. Da Mai sendiri sempat mengecap pendidikan hanya sampai kelas 4 SD, beragam profesi telah beliau tekuni dari mulai buruh di pasar Agam luar hingga pembicara yang diundang dalam banyak seminar,baik diluar maupun didalam negeri.

Seperti yang dikatakan diatas, Da Mai bukanlah lulusan pertanian yang mengerti semua nama ilmiah dari berbagai macam tanaman pangan tapi beliau dikenal sebagai pendekar yang mensejahterakan petani melalui program pertaniannya. Da Mai pun bukanlah ahli ekonomi atau keuangan lulusan Oxford University namun sekarang beliau adalah direktur dari Bank Petani yang memiliki ratusan cabang di Sumatera Barat.

Pada sesi kali ini, Da Mai sendiri menekankan pentingnya organisasi dikalangan muda. Da Mai menunjukkan sejumlah alasan kuat bagaimana kita bisa membangun masa depan kita melalui organisasi. Salah satunya melalui publik speaking, networking dan organisation skill yang di ajarkan di tiap organisasi.

Da Mai, seseorang yang sangat kreatif baik dalam berpikir maupun bertindak. Beliau mengibartkan kita sebagai Social Entreprenuer, atau pengusaha sosial. Pengusaha sosial tidak sama dengan pekerja sosial, sama seperti pengusaha lainnya pengusaha sosial melihat opportunity dari masalah yang terjadi di masyarakat dan mengganggapnya sebagai peluang. Peluang dalam artian, kita mampu menadapatkan profit begitu juga dengan masyarakat.

Social entreprenuer khusunya kalangan muda , adalah mereka yang berinvestasi terhadap tata nilai yang berkembang di masyarakat, yang mempengaruhi masyarakat banyak. Mereka memperbaiki dan mengadakan inovasi pada sistem tata nilai, agar dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat. kuncinya adalah "jangan pernah berhenti untuk berinovasi".

Pada akir sesi Da Mai bertanya kepada member dan delagates yang ada diruang konfrences,

" kawan-kawan mengerti apa yang saya sampaikan dari tadi?"

sontak seluruh yang ada menjawab, "mengerti"

Lalu dengan mengancungkan tinju dan berapi-api Da Mai berkata

"Oke, kalo kalian semua mengerti saya akan tunggu 6 bulan lagi.

Apa yang akan kalian buat untuk masyarakat kita?"

Okteber, Bulannya para pemuda Indonesia. Karena pada bulan ini dibulatkannya semangat para pemuda Indonesia yang nantinya akan menjadi pendiri sekaligus pemimpin bangsa ini. AIESEC LC UNAND sebagai sebuah organisasi yang mewadahi pemuda-pemuda khususnya di Padang untuk mengembangkan dirinya agar dapat memeberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat. Selama 18 tahun AIESEC berada di UNAND telah melahirkan 19 generasi yang telah berkontribusi, baik regional, nasional maupun internasional. Hari ini, kembali AIESEC UNAND menyiapkan agent terbaiknya untuk membawa perubahan yang lebih baik pada dunia. Setelah memilih pemuda-pemuda terbaik dari 450 applicant yang mendaftar, tanggal 29-30 oktober ini seluruh management board mewelcoming member, mengekspolre AIESEC secara lebih jelas, serta menekankan bahawa setiap dari mereka adalah Brand dari AIESES itu sendiri melalui sebuah event, LCC (Local Commitee Confrences) yang diadakan di UPTD balai diklat koperasi Provinsi Sumatera Barat.

Pada pembukaan ini LCP (Local Commitee President) AIESEC UNAND, Water Rachim Body menyampaikan wejengan pertamanya kepada NEWEE (new member),

" Di Padang ada lebih dari 12,000 lebih pemuda, tapi hanya 64 yang berkesempatan untuk menjadi bagian dari AIESEC UNAND. Bagian ini mungkin hanya nol koma sekian persen. Tapi saya yakin bagian yang kecil ini BISA memberikan dampak yang besar. Bahkan merubah Dunia"

Sampai posting blog ini ditulis, para delegates confrences telah mengiikuti banyak sekali sesi-sesi dengan materi-materi yang menarik dan disampaikan oleh mereka yang expert di bidangnya. Seperti AIESEC History yang presentasikan langsung oleh Water Rachim Body sebagai President AIESEC UNAND. Confrences yang diadakan selama dua hari ini di pandu langsung oleh Chair yang sangat inspiring, Haris Dwi Putra. Sedikit bercerita tentang latar belakang Chair, Haris Dwi Putra adalah LCP AIESEC UNAND 10/11 dan mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai The best student of UNAND katagori ekonomi terapan dan ilmu sosial . What a awesome confrences :)

Oktober, Bukalah Semangat Baru

Tanggal 1 oktober(hari ini), menjadi hari yang ditunggu-tunggu, bagi seluruh Management Board (MB) term 2011-2012 dan seluruh member AIESEC UNAND . Pasalnya hari ini menjadi pembuka quarter ke-2 dari masa kerja yang diamanahkan pada MB term ini sejak 1 juli 2011 ini. New Quarter New Spirit.. :D

Selama satu quarter menjalani masa kerja, banyak pencapaian yang sudah dicapai oleh MB yang menamai diri mereka IGNITE team ini. Seperti makna dari IGNITE sendiri yang berarti "menyala", MB 11/12 selalu berusaha menyalakan spirit mereka dalam setiap performances. Seluruh MB sadar bahwa mereka berada dibawah payung sebuah organisasi internasional yang selalu mencoba memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan disekitarnya, juga seluruh elemen MB benar-benar memahami beberapa kata dari tagline AIESEC "........ to explore and develope their leadership potential"

Berbicara soal projek sosial, Leadership, Exchange dan AIESEC UNAND seperti sebuah pembicaraan yang tidak akan menemui ujungnya dan tidak akan berhenti. Begitupun yang dilakukan MB term ini untuk membuat AIESEC UNAND tetap berkontibusi pada lingkungan sosialnya. Beberapa projek sosial seperti Pbox Children dan persiapan untuk PBOX HIV dijalankan pada quarter satu.Selain itu, AIESEC UNAND sebagai satu-satunya AIESEC di luar pulau jawa, tidak pernah bungkam untuk mensorakkan Exchange, baik melalui Exchange Fair, Class Prsentation dan program-program lainnya. Begitu juga dengan relationship terhadap dunia secara luas juga, tetap dijaga dengan mendatangkan para Exchangers dari luar negeri untuk berbagi dan belajar bersama para pemuda di Indonesia , khususnya di Padang.

Dari rangkaian projek dan program exchange yang tidak pernah mengenal kata berhenti ini, lahirlah orang-orang muda yang memiliki jiwa kesatria dan berani memberikan perubahan. Mereka inilah yang akan menjadi Leader masa depan. Leader, yang berani men-grab opportunity yang disediakan AIESEC, Leader yang berani men-challange diri mereka. Leader yang berani mendobrak segala rintangan dan menciptakan hal baik untuk lingkungannnya.

Begitulah sebagai sebuah organisasi sosial yang not for profit, AIESEC UNAND digerakkan oleh orang-orang yang memiliki spirit yang tinggi. Orang-orang muda yang tau benar arti bekerja dengan hati dan untuk siapa mereka bekerja. Satu quarter telah dilewati, tidak adil rasanya jika hanya melihatnya dari sisi baik dan prestasi yang telah diraih. Pun seperti kebanyakan team dalam sebuah organisasi, kadang masih banyak hal yang berbentrokkan satu dan yang lainnya. Namun hal tersebut tidak menjadikan kita berhenti untuk memberikan yang terbaik dari diri kita.

Terus Belajar dan Mencintai apa yang telah diamanahkan, dengan segudang harapan dan rencana luar biasa yang telah terkonsep di kepala kita buka quarter dua ini. Semoga IGNITE Team semakin Menyala-kan esensi dari keberadaan AIESEC itu sendiri.

Sebagai penutup, dan untuk memberi sedikit sentuhan semangat, Lagu Ello bukalah semangat baru dirasa cukup untuk menggambarkan Semangat Baru yang akan lahir pada quarter ini.

keberadaannya di nantikan bagi jiwa-jiwa muda yang haus perubahan,

jiwa muda yang sadar betul semua mimpi berasal dari sebuah langkah revolusioner,

ini hadiah untuk orang-orang muda ranah ini,

yang selalu ingin memberikan yang terbaik untuk tanah pertiwi

Angka 18 tahun yang sekarang di pangku oleh AIESEC UNAND, adalah dua digit angka yang menandakan perjalanan panjang organisasi yang berdiri pada 27 juli 1993 ini. Selama 18 tahun ,AIESEC UNAND selalu mencoba untuk memberikan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat khususnya sumatera barat. Baik melalui projek-projek yang ditujukan untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah-masalah sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat maupun melalui member AIESEC sendiri secara individu yang terjun langsung kelingkungan sosial.

Sebagai sebuah organisasi internasional, AIESEC UNAND berperan sebagai jendela bagi para membernya untuk mengubah mind set mereka agar lebih peka terhadap perkembangan global. Ke-internasionalan AIESEC juga membuat para AIESECers tidak hanya sadar betapa mereka beruntung menjadi bagian dari bangsa ini, tapi juga membuat mereka sadar bahwa mereka tidak hanya anak bangsa yang harus andil dalam kemajuan bangsa ini, tapi juga mereka adalah anak-anak dunia yang musti merubah wajah dunia menjadi lebih baik.

Hal ini diwujudkan melalui dua produk AIESEC yang selalu didukung penuh oleh member-member AIESEC UNAND, yaitu Exchange dan Leadership. Dua produk inilah yang kemudian melahirkan leader-leader yang mempimpin dengan hati, mereka yang tidak hanya berpikir tentang target,hasil dan penghargaan. Tapi juga menikmati proses pencapaian dan yang terpenting mereka selalu berpikir bagaimana merangkul semua orang dan empower and support them. kreativitas dan keberanian untuk melakukan dan menemukan sesuatu yang baru adalah nilai tambah dari perjalanan para AIESECERs untuk menjadi leader-leader dimasa depan. pemimpin yang seperti ini diterjamahkan dalam pepatah minang

"Alu tataruang tigo, samuik tapijak indak mati"

Dalam perjalanan yang bisa dikatakan masih belia ini, AIESEC UNAND tentunya menghadapi sekelumit masalah yang biasa ataupun tidak biasa dihadapi oleh organisasi kepemudaan lainnya. baik secara eksternal seperti prasangka-prasangka sosial yang berkembang di sekililing lingkungan kita sendiri, maupun dari sisi internal dalam tubuh AIESEC UNAND sendiri. tentunya masalah-masalah tadi, membuat kita semakin dewasa dan matang dalam menghadapi perjalanan selanjutnya. seperti sebuah bangsa yang besar masalah, kritik, evaluasi, kontrol dan perbaikan merupakan tahap-tahap untuk menciptakan bangsa yang besar dan tangguh. begitupun dengan organisasi ini, dengan harapan ketika kita mau mempelajari dimensi masa lalu akan membantu kita menjalani dimensi sekarang dan membantu kita menuyusun kerangka-kerangka masa depan. Maka dalam perjalanan selanjutnya, dukungan dari semua elemen baik alumni, member, dan stakeholder lainnya sangat berpengaruh pada perkembangan organisasi ini.

keunikan dan kebergaman yang ada di AIESEC UNAND memberikan warna-warni bagi keseharian AIESECers. kita tentu saja setuju dengan anggapan bahwa "AIESEC tidak memberikanmu apapun, tapi AIESEC menyediakan apapun untuk hidupmu". Kita ibaratkan AIESEC sebuah dapur yang menyediakan semua jenis bumbu masakan, dapur tersebut tidak akan pernah memberikan masakan yang lezat kepada kamu jika kamu tidak memulai memasak sekarang juga. dapur hanyalah dapur, sebuah wadah. seperti itu pula AIESEC UNAND.

AIESEC menyediakan semua hal untuk orang-orang muda tanah ini untuk mengembangkan dirinya, meningkatkan competitiveness dirinya agar mampu mengangkat harkat dan martabat dirinya maupun tanah pertiwi ini dimata masyarakat internasional. Hal yang tidak bisa dipungkiri adalah tanah ini telah melahirkan pemimpin-pemimpin besar untuk bangsa ini, bahkan founding fathers bangsa ini pun berasal dari ranah ini. maka sekarang ketika ranah ini dihadiahkan sebuah wadah bagi pemudanya untuk mendevelop dan mengexplore diri mereka, maka kita semua berharap banyak , bahwa kelak bangsa akan menemukan angin segar dengan lahirnya pemimpin-pemimpin muda yang akan merubah wajah bangsa ini, dari sini dari sebuah organisai mahasiswa , AIESEC UNAND.

Donation Day for MINANGKABAU!

Finally, we held the event that directly we made it for give a real contribution for Minangkabau on June 20, 2010 at Aula Fakultas Ekonomi Jati Universitas Andalas. We called it DONATION DAY FOR MINANGKABAU.

This event head for collect the donation for the participant to help rebuild some school that need it. all of ticket fee will be donate for it without exception.

All OCs and OCP got a busy week for prepare this event, because this is the biggest event presented by PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2, "Awaken for Bright Future".

We invite three peoples from three famous NGO became our external speaker, they are Mr. Tkahasi Riyoji from JICA(Japan International Cooperate Agency), Mrs. Endang Trisna from Mercy Corps, and Ms. Dian Noviany from KOGAMI. The participants got so many learning from them about earthquake education even earthquake experience from them.

Beside that, we put art performances into this event. There are earthquake theatrical from Studio Merah, Accoustic music from HIMA Management UNAND, Japanese dancer, and the most wanted performance by trainees, they shown us their talent with perform traditional dance from minangkabau. What a great show!

2nd Workshop of PBOX Earthquake 2 at SMK NUSATAMA

2nd workshop was held on May 29th 2010 at SMK NUSATAMA, Jl. Jend. Sudirman No. 9, PADANG BARAT, KOTA PADANG. With the theme Be Awaken For The Bright Future, this workshop was attended by over 110 participants. It was consist of 85 students of SMK NUSATAMA, 10 trainees from many countries, and also AIESEC members. The workshop started at 900 am and ended at 100 pm. We have so many trainees from Malaysia, Ceko, Slovenia, Hongkong, UK, and Qatar

The first agenda was speech from OCP of PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2 and also speech from headmaster of SMK NUSATAMA. After that, we continue our agenda by dividing all of students into 8 groups with 1 trainee and 1 OC of PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2 so that the students can share their earthquake experience. Not only that, the students also had to make evacuation map of their school in a piece of paper. There was so many reward for the best students and the best groups who was active during the session. The students got a lot of knowladge about earthquake and tsunami from presentation that given by facilitator. This workshop was so excited when the trainees performed a drama gesture about earthquake.

All of the activity that have done not only will increase the students’ knowledge about earthquake and tsunami, but also teach them what should and shouldn’t they do if earthquake and tsunami happen.

PBOX Earthquake 2 is in the house yow... we're back again to make a positive impact in society. Now, our mission is to give education about earthquake to junior high school students. That's why we choose SMP N 5 Padang as our place to make our mission success.

The event was very full of knowledge, but we create it on fun way, so no session for bored today. And of course it's full of roledance too. We're happy too because the students join with us to do it together. Today, we have FACI Team (nike andina, jessica winda, feni hardy, risa lianda putri). they did a great job. sharing their knowledge directly.

the event start from 9am until 2pm. but the students still patient to follow every sessions of this workshop. BIG THANKS to SMP 5, because they support our event by giving their permission to us to held our event there. because 3days before our event, our first place to held 1st workshop canceled it.

Opening Event of PBOX EARTHQUAKE 2

Finally, we held the opening event of PBOX Earthquake this morning at SD TIRTONADI, April 24, 2010. Although we just have a short time, but congrats for OC Programmer who able to arrange this event (again). Every students look happy and enjoy it. So many activities they did, such as drawing competition and of course get earthquake education from our learning partner KOGAMI.

Last Meeting of AIESEC BBMK 2009

Two weeks ago was the final meeting of AIESEC BBMK 2009. The last meeting was held at Taman Melati.
OC gave some requirement for BBMKers like the boys must wear blue shirt and the girls wear orange. Everybody look shining in that color. OC also gave so many rewards for best of the best BBMKer. But, other BBMKers musn’t be sad because they got one gift too. In the sow, there are so many fun things. Some of the lucky BBMKers must read and tell their love letter in front of everyone who came to Taman Melati that morning. on november 25th, IF was held again at PKM Unand. This event was started from 9 am. there were almost 200 participants in this event. In thif IF, we had external speakers and stand from 6 countries for promoting the countries for EP to go Exchange. This stands described how the Exchange countries culture look like. And we also proudly presented our IF icon,drumble pliss....BUNDO IF!!!!!!!!!!yeah.....^^ This IF was really awesome!!!Because we got almost 26 EP raised!!!hhmmm..sounds CRAZY right??? horree..horree...

PBOX Tourism (presentation from Estonian, Indonesian and Japanese )

On Friday (4th sptember 2009), there were presentations from trainees at Sekre PKM Unand. They are Kadri from Estonia and 8 trainees from Japan. The picture in the left showed that Kadri was explaining to all of the AIESECers and new comers all about her country, Estonia. Started from where the Estonia located, the culture, food, and so many else. Everybody felt so excited and curious to know more about the countries where the trainees came from.

All of the japanese sang a song after presenting their culture, food, tradition, emperor, religion, companies, even the models of school uniform and the cartoon that existed in Japan. They were so anthusiastic in singing their traditional song. And everybody that saw the presantation got laugh on them.hahahaha..

Not only the Estonian and Japanese that presented their countries but also AIESEC UA Padang presented our culture. There were Uda Ajay and Uni Ika as the tourism ambassador of Padang that gave presantation about our culture to all of the trainees and new comers. And the most interesting thing was when Uda and Uni also sang a traditional song of Padang to compete the Japanase that has already sang their song...^^ it was really full of fun..and all of the AIESECers and new comers has known many new things about their countries culture each other..

On 13th July, The Growers (EB team 09/10) had dinner with BOA of LC UA. All of the EB and manager attended this dinner. We all also came with the trainees. They are from China, Pakistan, Polandia, Egypt, French, Netherlands..Every body felt so excited having dinner with Bapak Basril Djabar as the owner of SINGGALANG newspaper, Bapak Fachri Ahmad, and Bapak Hasnawi Bahar who just became our new BOA. The dinner was totally worthful and enjoyable. We didn't only get dinner but also did karaoke with our beloved BOA...Bapak Basril Djabar and Bapak Hasnawi Bahar took apart in the karaoke time..They both sing one english song. So did the trainees that sing the song from their own country. Everybody really enjoy this karaoke time..This dinner absolutely will maintain a good relationship with the LC UA BOA...
